The morning of the wedding was filled with excitement, emotion, and laughter. While Amy and her bridesmaids got ready at The Barn — steaming the veil, creating TikToks, and sharing giggles — Andrew and his groomsmen took a pre-wedding swim down at South Milton Beach. A quick shot to calm the nerves, an exchange of gifts, and the stage was set for an unforgettable day.

Makeup artist Rachael Gaunt worked her magic creating a soft, timeless bridal look, while hair stylist Katie Boon from Oak Kingsbridge completed the elegant coastal style. The flowers, by the talented Molly at South Milton Flower Farm, brought bursts of colour and natural beauty into every corner of the venue.

A Ceremony Overlooking South Milton Beach

The ceremony itself overlooked the glittering sea – the breeze catching the bride’s veil, the sound of waves just below. You could feel the love and joy radiating from everyone there.

As Amy and Andrew locked eyes for the first time, all the nerves melted away. That first moment is always one of my favourites to capture – when it’s just the two of them, completely in the moment.

And then came Tilly’s moment to shine. Wearing her very own bridal harness, this clever rescue pup carried the rings down the aisle with so much pride – she literally looked like she was smiling! It was one of those unforgettable moments that had everyone grinning (and maybe a little teary too).

With a shower of confetti and cheers, Amy and Andrew made their way back down the aisle as newlyweds – full of joy, colour, and love.

Amy and Andrew had planned a full day of photography coverage, which meant they had plenty of time to chat, laugh, and be present with their guests while I captured beautiful candid shots and relaxed group photos. I always love that balance – the formal portraits and the fun, unposed moments that tell the real story of the day.

Inside, The Barn at South Milton looked incredible – rustic beams, romantic lighting, and vibrant florals that brought everything to life. Every time I shoot at this venue, I’m reminded just how versatile and beautiful it is. No two weddings ever look the same here!

After some relaxed couple portraits (and a few quiet minutes for Amy and Andrew to soak it all in), it was time for the speeches. Heartfelt, funny, and emotional – they perfectly captured the love and laughter shared between this amazing couple.

Golden Hour at the Beach

No South Milton Barn wedding is complete without a trip to the beach! As the sun began to dip, Amy and Andrew kicked off their shoes and dipped their newlywed toes into the sea. With blue skies and golden light, it was a moment of pure joy and freedom – the perfect way to end the day before heading back to The Barn to dance the night away.

And dance they did! With The Stereo Jacks bringing the party to life, the night was full of energy, laughter, and love – the perfect celebration for a couple who clearly adore each other (and their four-legged best friend!).
